It's My Voice

Supporting Active Engagement & Self-Advocacy through Fun, Motivating Activities

liamIt's My Voice is designed for students with Autism ages 5 to 14 with complex language and support needs.

Highly-trained Ivymount staff support student participation in enriching, motivating activities focusing on a weekly theme.

Students communicate using voice, sign, and high or low technology systems. Through 1:1 support and the use of Ivymount teaching strategies such as Applied Behavior Analysis, Incidental Teaching and Language Modeling, staff encourage active engagement and provide opportunities for students to practice self-advocacy skills. Structured group activities focus on skills such as taking turns, participating in a group, making requests, and labeling items.
